Here's what I learned today:
1. Do not be afraid.
2. Take your station.
3. The Lord shall do battle for you.
4. You shall keep still.
This is what Moses told his desert wanderers when they were ready to revolt. Waiting for God's plan for our lives can be frustrating. We want to jump ahead and make things happen. But our actions just might delay our dreams and God's call on our life even further.
I'm learning to wait...have a ways to go. How about you?

Thanks for the encouragement to wait on the Lord! Our family is in a pretty uncomfortable position right now, but our sense from the Lord is to wait! Thanks for the confirmation! :)
ReplyDeleteI know how it is with the family situation. We are in the same waiting mode. It's hard, especially when when it's someone close that you are waiting for God to move on. Blessing for your family and may God give you peace in keeping still.
